Help me! My first plant is getting yellow spots and wilting

put your finger about three inches in and if its moist you dont need to water it, i use canna coco soil and it has a nice way of changing colour to let you know also get your air supply sorted before you bother with the HPS otherwise you'll find controling the temperature pretty hard

They look a lot better. Don't worry about the low leaves any more, focus on the appearance of new growth.
Bottled drinking water often has undesirable minerals in it. Tap water has calcium, and the plants need that.
I see those pots have a built in drain tray. Those can trap moisture and lead to pests and also prevent proper drainage. If you can remove the tray without damaging the plant, do so.
Those plants are old enough to feed. Start on a 1/4 strength grow fertilizer.
I moved this to 'plant problems'.

Thanks for movin it, wish I could turn into a grow log. Can I use miracle grow for nutrients? I already have some and it would be easy to dilute and start using. I will remove them drainage trays right away. I figured I couldnt add the light until i started feeding them a bit. Lights gonna be nice.

Ventilation= 2 little computer fans mounted into wall going out into attic
1 big square window fan blowing right on plants.

ok, so I'm still lost when it comes to nutrients, so I am gonna have to just trust the folks at the local hydro store. They seem to know their shit..

Today I got some botanicare Pure blend pro gro, I wanted 1/4 strength so use 1 tsp instead of 1 tbsp. Also got some Sweet but will wait to add that, see how this goes first, only used maybe a quarter of the gallon I made, don't know if I should keep using it til it's gone or just once a week or something. I turned on the 600 wt MH light and its set 2.5 to 3 feet above the girls, for now, turned the flourescents off for a bit, gonna switch back in a few hours, since I will be leaving and don't want it getting hot and want them to get used to it slowly, and am so scared of messin something up at this point, they are looking so good! I've had the same bong since high school, how sad is that? Better go have a lil session with her..

Oh, I should be getting bunch of seeds soon for grow #2, probably do 10 at a time for now, hopefully that gives me 4-6 females. How can I do 2 at once, I would need a seperate box right? start the next group when the old ones go into flower, just seal off the big box so no light gets in? 24 on for the little box of babies, 12/12 in the main room.
