    Baking with Vape Leftovers

Anyone here know the proportions I should use when cooking with leftovers from the vape considering the massive amount of THC lost during the vaping?

I'd thing the THC should already be activated, so could I also skip that step?

    Baking with Vape Leftovers

    Hi otottoto

THC activation can be a bit misleading, the science is really nothing more than 'drying out' the cellulose plant material and converting the 'inactive' compounds like THC-A into its psychoactive THC form (otherwise referred to as decarboxylation).

In well cured and dried bud most of this has happened naturally, and there is little left to convert. You can be doubly sure however, that if you've already applied heat to your weed in a vaporizer it's done. So, skip that stage, no need to do it again.

In fact the only time it's essential is when making green dragon (edit: or honey oil) as that's a 'no heat' recipe, most other canna-cooking methods involve oven time, and therefore it's done automatically.

To try and gauge/guess the quantities of THC left in your weed (and so estimate how much you'd need to cook with in order to get 'working' product), it would be useful to get an idea of original potency (a score from 1 to 10 for example), and know how long (and at what temperatures) you've vaped it for.

To be truthful though it's going to be mostly guesswork as knowing how much THC is left is not an exact science, still, the great thing about vaporizers is they give you a second 'bite of the cherry'!
So I'm sure you'll be able to get some god results.
    Cheers
