ive heard some people say that if you add molasses to your plants while budding it can increase the sugar intake wich inturns make you thc content more potent? if this is true im in 3rd week into budding and im about to change my resivoir i have a 10gallon tank. how much do i put in and for how long. if theres any pros and cons worth mentioning please do so thanks:hippy:

i dont think molasses really make thc content more potent, it adds carbon to the plant which in return gives the plant more mass and it also helps bring out the natural oils and resins and flavors in the bud, its good to use molasses throughout the whole grow

do you happen to know the regements for 10 gall resevior and i change it every 2 weeks?

I was told to use anywhere from a teaspoon to a tablespoons per 3 gallons. So for you a couple of tablespoons would do the job.

in soil grows, I just throw a big old glop of blackstrap unsulphured mollases to a gallon of water ... I'm estimating my big old glop is about 3 tablespoons ... in hydro, I only use about a 1/3 of a glop (one Tbsp), cause its a little messy ... I have definitely seen an increase in 'bud bulk' using it in my soil-grows ... :thumbsup:

Honey works nicely too in soil if you want to try that. Use it in the last week before you flush. People told me that the flowers doubled in size overnight.

double ??? :wtf: no ... don't believe everything you hear, you will see improvement over the couple months of flowering, but nothing like that ... honey doesn't stay dissolved in cool water, molasses seems to be OK in that respect ... I give a dose midway thru vegging, and once a week in flowering ... like anything else, it can probably be overdone ... :smokin:

thats great info treetops thanks,so basically add any type of fructose glucose xylose or arabinose to the plant so it can bud better faster and sweeter sounds like a win-win to me i was reading ed rosenthals book and he said you could inject it with a needle,so maybe ill try it out ,thanks again
