I was in Amsterdam Dec. '07 prior to Christmas. We went to MANY coffee shops and there was no talk of MJ becoming illegal at that time. You can't have it on the streets in Amsterdam, only in the coffe shops is what I experienced. What a vacation!! Schrooms were for sale then too. I rather stick with MJ.

Right, this was on the news a few months ago.

A young female tourist was killed after stepping in front of an electric tram after having consumed a potent fungi in historic downtown amsterdam. In response to this, lawmakers adjusted their lax drug policy to enforce a ban on said fungus. Many of the Dutch smoke herb, and their hobby is officially safe.
