Metal screen Glass bowl???

I have a glass bubbler and i have some metal screens which i usually don't use. I heard they can break glass. So my question is can i use a metal screen in my glass bubbler?? Will it really break the slide?? i just have a lot of shake and no big pieces of bus so i wanna use the screen but i don't wanna break by slide.

No! I believe that the diff. in temp. that the metal has to the glass would cause fractures.
I've never used a screen with a glass though so I have no anecdotal evidence.

I use metal screens all the time with NO problems (tho they do get clogged up easily. As long as youre not forcing it in and you've shaped it a bit, you should be fine. Otherwise, go buy yourself a couple of glass screens
