If the cpu fan is 12volt you'll need an adapter that can plug into the wall. Cut the one end off (not the end that plugs into the wall) and splice the two wires to the fan wires.
You can get 120v fans from your local surplus store where you can also find cords w/ plugs. Just splice together.

As for the light, I would go for the hps. The increased yield may make it worth the trouble of one plant.
Perp Reviewed by Perp on . small setup, your opinons pls im looking at a small setup, one plant to start with. Should i get a 42 watt cfl with 2700 lumens or an HPS 100w with 9400 lumens. i know the more lumens the better, but i read somewhere on here that you should do low lumens when the plant is starting to grow and when its ready for budding, high lumens. also for a 1 plant setup should i just get a regular air filter or a carbon one will take out the smell? thanks for your inputs, Rating: 5
