    roots

i dont know what section to put this in but whatever. I know it varies how big your plant gets. But how long do the roots go? I mean i got my plants in 3 gallon bags but i didnt really filll the bag to the top with soil..its like 3 inches down. Am i gonna have any problems with having them be root bound? By the way my plants are about 12 inches tall now

Most people use the rule of thumb being 1 gallon of soil for every foot of plant. So a 1-foot plant would need a 1-gallon container, 3-foot needs 3-gallon, etc.
