A few questions about BHO

I was gonna use everclear, as it's cheap and powerful. If you let it all evaporate, wouldn't you end up with dried oil again?

Yes... it would work fine.

Theoretically, what do y'all think of redepositing oil dissolved in ethanol back onto buds. I am reminded of methods used for Salvia, and see no reason why it would not work with weed.

I think its a good idea for increasing the buds potency, but also an waste... smoking bud is far more wasteful than smoking pure oil, as when we smoke bud there is always a loss of THC due the burning... yet when we smoke oil, its possible to vaporize it without any combustion, decreasing greatly any THC losses.

Or, even, could you use the dissolved oil in brownies? The alcohol evaporates anyway, wouldn't it just leave the thc in the cooking brownies?

Yes... it also works... i used to did it on brigadeiros... i just mixed the alcohol with the sweet condensed milk... the only trouble (for me who HATES alcohol and booze) is that not all alcohol evaporated, so i would taste a bit of it in the finished brigadeiros... but it wasnt a great issue... cause the taste was still great, and the effects even greater! :stoned::stoned::stoned::thumbsup:

A few questions about BHO I understand that making BHO is a much cleaner method than most for extracting your thc, but at the end of every tutorial, I get confused. You have a bunch of thc oil mucked up at the bottom of your dish, yet everyone scrapes it off with a knife. My question is: Would it in any way damage the thc to pour ethanol into the dish with the oil in it? The only reason I ask this is because nobody seems to do it, even though it looks to me to be a far more efficient way of collecting the oil that Rating: 5
