And when I was sayng he was too libertarian, I wasn't saying his message of liberty is too much for us. I was saying some of his policies of deregulation, which are commonly associated with a "libertarian" point of view, were too much for me. I agree with his defense of personal liberty, and I agree that our constitutional rights have been eroded far too much. I just don't buy his whole package.
Yes, that is what I'm trying to say. Thanks for clearing that up -- maybe I've been too vague in explaining my position in this. And this really isn't what I currently believe, it's just a question I've been asking myself. That maybe it's possible he's a really good liar .

And meatw4d, that is very true. I've thought about that as well. The real anti-Ron Paul propaganda exists in the form of implying that if you vote for him, your vote is wasted, because he doesn't have a chance. But at the same time, I wonder if this is all a form of manipulation to get people to actually look into his beliefs and support him. Like I said, I want to head this thread into a certain direction, but I put it into the politics forum, and not the conspiracy forum. LOL
