Drinking lots of water now isn't going to do a lot for you *days before* the test. It comes in handy the day of. And the recommended practice is sports drinks (gatorade, poweraide) because of the sodium content. So how many days clean have you been?

As you will see time and time again, your best solution is to sub if you can. If you can't do that, go the dilution route (which says 24-48 hours of abstinence, but the longer the better your chances). And be careful with "other crap", i.e. detox bills, goldenseal, niacin, etc. The dilution sticky seems to have a very good track record. I can't say whether or not you will be ok or not, everyone will respond differently.

Common thing to recommend,

1) get some test strips from ebay, they are cheaper there. I think a lot of people can get them for a 1.25 or so shipped. Or you can get one at Wallgreens or CVS (Pharmatech or First Check) but it will run you about 16.00 USD each.

2) Follow the dilution sticky... (I tend to do test runs as well to see how I do)

3) dont' smoke anymore until after you get the call (or lack their of) saying your good to go.

4) READ MORE THAN ONE POST. Do your research here, don't just expect to have a 100% solid answer. And pay attention to the # of post counts people have. While not always an accurate indicator, those with more posts tend to have more credibilty.
