Another Urgent Hair Test Situation

FBR, Jerry G, you guys seem to know the ins and outs of hair testing and I have read posts from both of you on this site and M.com, but I'd like some opinions. I took a hair test on Nov. 28th. Before I did I used the Mac method once, several washes with a MAX HTR shampoo from one head shop back and forth with tide about 3-4 times (we have the stuff for high efficiency washers) then the following morning tide, HTR, and a zydot treatment. Then off to the test. I waited till yesterday and no answer so my hopefull future employer called the lab to see what was up. They said they lost the sample and i'd have to take another on Monday. Money is tight due to Christmas and all so rushing off to buy hair bleach, dye, more zydot etc.. is kinda not possible. The only thing I could get more of is another pack of zydot. I still have plenty of everything to do many more mac methods, had some of the zydot shampoo pack left. Plenty of the HTR stuff. I did 3-4 mac methods last night, used the rest of the zydot shampoo 3-4 washes, multiple HTR washes, sprayed all purpose cleaner with bleach, dishsoap, and damn there every chemical I had around the house on my head. My skin must not be too sensitive because i didn't start feeling really burnt till the last wash last night. I woke up today and Mac'ed my head again, washed with HTR again a few times. And when i get done writing this I'm gonna start the chemical ass kickin on my head again. I plan on using the last zydot monday morning before the test but will continue to pound my head until then with everything else. I did manage to pick up some aloe rid also and will trow that into the mix too. Mainly I just need to know my chances of passing to possible calm my nerves a little more. (been freaked out for a couple weeks now, A lot is riding on this job)

My stats are this:
Light build, high metabolism, blond-dirty blond hair, about 1.5" (thats why I got so many washes with the HTR and zydot because it lathers so well). I was a bowl or two a day smoker since forever till thanksgiving then went dry.

If i left anything out let me know. I need feedback and to pass but time is running out. If anyone out there can help I'd appreciate it. Thanks

when is your test? why not shave everything "head to toe" and let it grow out if you have a little while.

Sucky.... wish I could help you bro! Really, sorry I cant. Hair tests are not fair, they should not test for MJ, It already stays in your system long enough, ya know? Good for coke and dope and stuff. Well, good luck.

i just looked up some info on vinegar use in hair and everything i read said it closes the hair cuticle, which is the opposite of what needs to be done.

How important is that part of the process of the Mac method? It seems of all the things i put on my head it is what causes the most pain and irriation. I did read that a peroxide and salicylic acid mixture roughens and opens the hair. Would this be an improvement to the mac method? Can I start/ would it be a good idea to omit the vinegar use from now on?

Don't try to look up how vinegar works because it is all too confusing. Vinegar and salicylic acid do damage the hair and allow the tide to get in to remove metabolites.

Sorry money is tight but if you can afford $10-15 ($4 for the activator, $3-5 for a packet of the bleach, $3-5 for a bottle of dye) you can buy the stuff to bleach your hair and redye it. Doing that would probably ensure you passing the test on top of everything else you have done.

PDX, read before you tell someone to shave their body head to toe 1 day before their test. Do you really think the hair test can be beaten just by shaving everything off? Do you think you are the first person to suggest this approach in error? They can also use nail shavings.

I looked at wally world for hair bleach and dye but didn't find any, I hope a beauty supply store is open today because $10-$15 is do able being I just spent another $35 for Zydot again. I know stranger things can happen and you can't give me any guarantees but you do think I have a fighting chance right?

Yeah you should be able to find a beauty supply store open today unless you live in a town of 200 people. Get the girls to help you. Tell them what your doing and if they look at you funny, don't worry. Who are the going to tell? Someone the other day said that the girls wouldn't help them because they didn't want them doing back to back treatments so get them to help you with the color match first then ask about bleaching. I give 85% chance of passing or higher.

Thanks a lot for your help, i plan on finding the bleach and dye but if not how much less are my chances? Hopefully thats my last question to the god of hair tests, I pretty much have a good grasp of it. I just needed the few questions I asked answered and a little nerve calming re-assurance.
