New to Austin, TX

Whats up everybody, my name is David and I just moved into the Austin area (Cedar Park) from East Texas, and honestly I just would like to meet some new people to chill with around here because it's kinda hard not knowing anybody, just looking to have a good time but I don't really know the area at all either, I have no clue where to start so I figured I would try to meet some people from the internet. I really hope I get some responses because I've been told that this is a really good place to live, I hear the people are generally nice and some have even said it's party capitol around here, I really just want to get out the house and enjoy myself in this great city. Any comments or anything would be greatly appreciated, nice to meet you all and I'm glad to apart of this community. Peace
