Get a waterproof. Digital pH reader. I have a Testr pH. Cost me about $15. I'm growing in pure organic. Im using all fox farm neuts too. They give you a schedule you follow. I also switch my bulbs out between another. Blue Spectrum Show N Grow light, it kind of looks like a flood light. I just do it to keep a steady temp. around 85*

Theres a pH up solution that blue you can buy and I use tiny pin head drops of muratic acid to raise it.
