Here's another racial incident on a bus that I remember, since I knew the kid that was a target. A friend's younger brother, a very strong kid of about 15 years old, wanted to sit in a bus seat but there were books on it. He politely asked the kid sitting next to the books to remove them, and the response was negative, so he just knocked the books to the floor of the bus. One of the gang tried to hit him, and he decked him. He then sat down.

Unfortunately, most people are not teenagers who are capable of doing hundreds of free weight curls, playing rough sports, and kicking the shit out of punks. That's where the law is supposed to come in.

I think blacks proved in the civil rights movement that most of them can maintain their composure despite the fact that their friends and family are being beaten and battered for protesting in a peaceful manner. Not that all demonstrations were peaceful of course but many of them that were, were met with white violence. So I disagree with the idea that there would be riots and outrage if this happened to a black woman.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you swan, hate crimes are a pretty one way street in this country from what I've seen. Atleast 90% of the hate crime cases I've seen all have white defendants, thus leading me to the believe that our country thinks only white people can hate based upon the color of someones skin.

If it were white kids attacking an older black lady, in 1960, it would be national news (it still is), but, I'd think the city of Baltimore would still like to keep that quiet in the press.

BET will probably give these kids an award too. if noone folloewd it they gave one to the kids from the jenna 6. and for what? hospitalizing a white kid. and when they tried to prosecute them al and jesse decided they needed to march and protest in jenna. if anyone remembers it was supposedly over the hanging of a noose in a tree. wich by the way happened at the begining of the football season the beating did not occure until well after the season was over.

The parents are too blame but Kids aren't stupid ither. They know right from wrong.

Its hard when our society kinda preaches that nothing is really Right or wrong anymore. Your almost kinda tought to hold yourself as the ultimate Boss and that you should never be ashamed of any actions that you do. Cuz that would be society controlling you!! and make you a pawn in the system.

I live in Canada and its pretty tame up here compared to down south. But even here its getting pretty scary. Like 50 shells found just around the corner from where I live. from a gang shooting. In downtown Toronto. Fuk I walk down that block every day on my way to and from work. Its getting almost unbarable. I can't confidently say that its a safe city anymore like 5 yrs ago forsure. But not now.

Ither way you look at it those kids are rejects in my boooks and will probs amount to nothing in life If thats how they have and find fun. They will grow up and have babies and live on welfare cheques that everyones hard earned tax money will support. And they will conplain that Life was HArd on them and that they CAN"T do anything about it.
