Whys is death so bad

who said death was bad? i mean, we all instinctively try and avoid death because its something we're programmed to do. But death may just be the long rest at the end of a life that so many people these days need....

If after this life we go to a place that is better than here, a place that is perfect, why do you get so sad when some one close to you dies? It should be the happiest day of their life and you should be happy because they are going to see god. You know your gonna see them again too so its really like them leaving on a vacation earlier than you. Why is it so sad then? maybe because in the back of your mind you know its really the end? I didnt mean people need to die, lol, I just mean alot of people need a rest, as in, our society is so stressful that most people walk around in a constant state of anxiety and stress. So maybe, in a way, death isnt so bad... I think I just worded it wrongly.
