    Grow idea

Ok guys I own this piece of property about 100 miles from me. The area is huge about 40 ac. Now I had this thought that in april I would go up to my property and take say 30 clones there and plant them in the woods.

First I started thinking well ....what if some kids find my little field. My answer was to spread them out and make a map. If they find one so be it. Let them have it. LOL

Next I started thinking about deer. They will prob want to eat it right???? so I thought maybe I could get some sort of item that deers dont like IDK what but im sure they have something.

But then I started thinking about all the other animals like raccoons and squirels and rabbits will they eat my plants??? What could i do about them??????

I also was thinking I could go there say once a month. How will these plants do unattended. Im sure they will need nuts to produce nice buds but what if they only got nuts once a month??????

Has anyone ever tried to do a distance grow like this???

Am I just going to fail if I attempt this???

    Any feedback would be great.

Oh yea I was going to use white widow clones from my indoor moms. So wut u think???

You should try some cougar piss. You can buy it at a sporting goods store that sells camping equipment and hunting supplies. As far as the growing conditions, you need to tell us more about the property.

if the soil is fertile and they are naturally adept plants, they may get along with minimal nutrients and the rain....

i believe its primarily deer and cats that like to eat the buds, but not sure. cougar or wolf urine would probably scare most animals to safe distance. or put a small circle of chickenwire around.

for kids, your best bet it finding something it will blend in with and be hidden. (which is good, cuz that kind of area would most likely have good soil conditions if theres other plants)

The area is basicly wooded. There are plants and stuff there also. Do u think that it would be a good idea to plant a 3 gallon pot with fresh soil and compost and let the plants grow throw that and then into the soil there.

I think I may attempt this project in April. In the mean time I am going to read alot about outdoor grows

predator urine should work well to keep animals from eating your plants, but won't work after it rains. I would also add dog/cat/human hair (not your own) to help with that as well.

Water. If it doesn't rain for a month, your plants will suffer, but if you get enough rain, giving them nutes once a month will be just fine (not optimal, but fine). Just don't try and over do the nutes b/c you can't feed them ofter, less is better than more. I would get the plots ready asap and put a lot of organic matter in your holes so that when you plant, you will have lots of slow release nutrients for your plants throughout the season. Avoid fish or blood meals so that predators won't dig up your soil.

I would just amend what soil you have there this year, as it probably won't be optimal anyway, save some labor. Put some kind of mulch around your plants (as natural looking as possible) to keep other plants from growing around it and to conserve water. But if it is going to make it hard to conceal, forget about it, safety first. Good luck man
