Is this an odd question??

This is my first grow. Right now I have 5 plants growing varying in size. My concern is on flowering. I don't have the room and set up to do a dual veg/flower thing, so what should I do? Should I wait till the smallest one reaches 12" and flower them all at the same time?

not at all odd for today, but i would wait for the smallest to reach 12'' (if thats size u wanna flower at) and then flower

It really depends how much time you have. If you're like me, you have to pull off the grow asap, and what I usually end up doing is bending the large plants so they match canopy with the shorter plants.

Alternative to bending...
I often grow a couple of different strains, which grow at different rates. As an example: Even with the same strain, I end up with some plants that are 14" tall, but only 6 internodes, while others are 10" tall with 7 internodes. (I judge my plants maturity on alternating internodes, not height, but my grow room is 8' tall)
It's easy to adjust the plants distance from the light tho, by placing the shorter plants on top of bricks, wood scraps or Rubbermaid 'milk crates'. Adjust heights as needed throughout the grow.
