i got officially 4 sprouts and they are almost 2 weeks old they are planted in miracle grow seed starting soil.. my plants were doing great until half way through the week one began to turn yellow. here are some pics.. i thought that maybe i should start adding nuts considering the soil has near nothing for nutrients.. but it was brown before i added flora nova bloom mix.. in about 1/4 strength..
don't really no what to do i got 2 fans temp is average 84-87 humidity stays around 40% its 3 26 watt cfl's but im gonna add 3 more to the top when i begin to flower which i hope to start doing now..

pic1 is soil... pic 2 is ingredients... pic 3 is the plant yellowing... pic 4 is the cabinet and pic 5 is seedlings..

ok since no one has answered ill add more to bump it up.. anyways i use ditilled water but just recently i have started using tap water which the ph runs around 7.0 give or take.. it seems to have just happened after i watered them yesterday... i know i didnt over water them because the soil was very dry... so i soaked them with water then filled up the bottoms with some water that had some hydrogen peroxide... thats the only thing i can think of that happened... buts whats weird is all the other plants are fine just one is yellow rest are perfectly green... is it heat stress?? i dont really know anything else i did to make it look burned.. i checked the soil ph and its in the 6.8 field... no nutes ever added and well the soil has so little nutes.. the biggest thing that i dont understand is why its the only one doing it... they have all been grown in the same exact conditions and have been given the same exact thing.. if it were something really wrong with anything i did to it, i would think it would effect all the plants in the same way... hmm im so confused but i guess thats what happens when you grow your first plant :P.. i just wanna figure out why they are dieing so i dont do it again.. or maybe so i can bring them back.. i have searched for these problems and all i can see is it might be a Potassium or magnesium deficiency.. but im not sure.. P.S. if i didnt mention it already they are all bagseed...

you're watering too much, get a moisture/ph tester for your soil. In case that isnt it, you can try some phosphate

Hey are they getting burnt. Is that leaf tip turned up and red or brown on the end? Is that seed starter ok to start in? Just rub some of that old spice on it should clear everything right up.

its wilted as if i over watered it but i only water every 2-3 days... but also brown on the ends as if its nute burn... the fertilizer says it has a wetting agent in it.. god knows what that means LOL...the nute in the soil are only .05-.01-.05 that cant be enough to nute burn anything... the lights are probably about 3-4 inches away from the plant... and to the phosphate what might i add to give it more phosphate??.. i added flornova bloom which has a mix of 4-8-7 if its phosphate do you think that is enough to tell?? i mixed a 1/4 tsp with a gallon of water.. so its pretty diluted

    Don't use ferts yet.
Your pH is likely low, your soil looks soggy, and the symptoms are consistent with that.
If you use a pre-ferted soil, it's good practice to add EXTRA perlite. All those MG products are peat-based and the water retention qualities don't suit cannabis.
Those pots have drip trays built in, right? Remove them.
Go back to tap water. The pH 7 and the minerals in it will help offset the acids present n the peat.
Flush well with tap water and then allow to dry. If you can drill holes in the sides of the pots, that will help it dry out faster.
You can also do a foliar-feed with a VERY weak fert solution. Weaker than the bottle says.

well when i water them i leave it under the sink and let the sink slowly drip into the pots.. would that help clear out the acid?? also i check the ph everyday and its usually around 6.8. the nuts that i have put in there are about half of what the instructions say to put for seedlings.. so i guess i should just keep flushing.. one question i do have is since you said flush it would i just flush the pots when they need to be watered or would i flush them more often??
p.s. im pretty sure im gonna lose that one plant but i got 3 others so its no biggy plus its only bagseed.. other question is if i got to the hydro store and bought different soil is there one that is highly recommended for this type of plant ??

update. checked the ph this morning and well the sick plant has a slightly higher ph in the soil.. looks like a 6.5.. the first pic is the good plant while the second is the sick one.. but idk how accurate this thing is heh.. got it from home depot for 20 bux.. also back to the soil question this is the store near me.. what would you recommend for a better soil from this company??

My $0.02 on the soil pH/water indicators: they blow. They are rarely accurate and if you are relying on them as the sole source of indication for pH and moisture level, they're downright dangerous. Spend a couple bucks on, at the very least, a liquid pH test kit; I would recommend spending the $60-80 on an Oakton pH tester.
