My White Widow and Thai 9 days into flower

Hey guys, i have been growing these babies on a mere 20watt floro up untill the first week of flower then i landed my hands on 1 150w and 1 250 watt HID. So i took the plants out of the closet, and placed the 250 watt above the plants and stuck a fan in there, i want to put the other 150 watt in but there isn't enough room. I placed it by the side of the plants but it got too hot for them in such a small place, so i have just left the 250 watt in there you can see it in the top of the pictures.. what do you people think? will 250 watt be sufficient to get a decent yield? Also since i only put the HID in there a week into flowering will it make much of a difference? will it causes problems or be ok? and finally for my next grow i have been thinking that cause i have limited space i might stick 2 white widow plants in there and put them onto 12/12 straight away? my prediction of this will be that they wont grow so big and only have one biggish bud on them? is this correct or will it be a waste of time? any recommendations on how i should grow the next batch in such a small space.. thanks for any comments, keep it real.

    Peace

Hello; They do look healthy but pretty sretched man..need to get that light almost touching them if their floro's man..if you don't you end up with long spendly plants like yours.lol. Mine are 32 days old and short bushes with short internode spacing..thats what you want for bigger buds the closer your nodes are together the tighter your buds.

    Hey there buddy.
I usually don't make to many suggestions, but when I saw your pics, well I just wanted to let you know that you can have alot more, bigger, thicker, buds, even with your floro's. I have a closet grow myself and in the space I have, 3 ' deep x 10 ' wide x 5 ' hieght. A regular clothes closet in an apartment! I use 1 gal. 2.5 gal 5 gal. and also 2' x 3' x 2 ' deep crates, all with plants in them. 8 - 10 plants in the crates and in some of the 5 gal. size I put 1-3 plants in them. I have 17 differnt strains and a total of 48 plants right now, but will eventually do 99 plants all together.
The closet space is for the 24 hr. cycle. when I start to flower a plant, I simply move it out into another room for it's 12 hrs of dark, and put them back in the closet for it's 12 hrs. of light.
I use flouro's, MH and HPS and also use a few of the Grow Lights. You can get them at most grocery stores. they are Plant and aquarium lights. The bulb type, not flouro's. They put out alot of lumens and work very nice for getting light to the bottom and back sides, were light is blocked.
You can see the differance in a matter of an hour or so.
If you were to go to HomeDepot of simalar place, you can get these floro's that put out alot more lumens and they have a color rendition of about 56000 instead of the normal 15000-26000 that reg floro's have. They are Daylight full/wide spectrum. Check out the info, I'm telling you this from memory, and I been smoking pot for 35+ years, memory is not to sharp!!!!
If you use all floresents, you will not have a heat problem from lights anyways, and you can let the plants grow right up into the lights. You can put them on the floor also for light on the bottom branches and you can count on a bigger harvest also.
HPS lights are the best for flowering in my opinion, but floro's will work to! They just take a couple weeks longer for the plants to mature.
Always keep a fan or two going even when there is no heat, you need fresh air.
I can go on and on but hey, you can ask more questions first, and there are some excellant folks here to answer your most diffacult questions.
Happy growing partner and hope you have learned something from me today ?
