Why is Bud so expensive in the U.S.?

I was Just wondering why weed is so damn pricey in the states?I see ppl on these forums saying they pay $500-$600 for an o.z. of quality buds such as northern lights,NYC Diesel,Purple Kush etc.,That is outrageous,how do these dealers sleep at night?and why do the ppl who buy it even smoke?icouldn't afford to toke if it cost that much.I pay $80 for 1g of budder (99.7% THC)God knows what they would pay for it in the states!I Buy Strains like Jack Herer,Sensi Star,Sugar Bear,Purple Kush,NYC Rating: 5

I can conferm, prices do get too 700 or more per Oz. here and in other states. Prices are high and getting higher. So if your paying alot cheaper for the good green dont take it for granted. the US government has made it so, Grade is for the rich, the scandalous, or the gangsters in the US, its all a matter of comming to terms with which one are you.

oh hell yeah, especially when I think about prices for all the other fresh dried herbs in the health food stores.
I certainly wouldn't mind paying only a COUPLE DOLLARS for an ounce of fine organic marijuana... ahhhh, if only......
