Right then,

After scattering questions and pictures across several boards, probably in the wrong place, I've decided to roll up a chonger and bring it all together here.

This is my first grow, and many mistakes have been learned from along the way.

26 Sept.
I started with 3 'four-way' seeds, planted straight into soil propogation blocks, 2 germinated and were transplanted into houseplant compost under a (wait for it) 500w halogen security lamp in my wardrobe. They didn't like that, so the light was replaced by 4 2ft cool white fluoro tubes, which they liked.

I switched to 13hrs dark/11hrs light on Nov 5th, with my newly acquired 400w HPS. Due to cheap timers and me being out all the time, these light periods took some serious knocks, but are now stable again. The end result was one sweet lady and her big daddy, but I took care of him about a week ago.

Below are photos taken last night. I shall endeavor to turn this into a log if there is any interest.

But I'd appreciate your thoughts, good or bad.

But i have a question . . .

Your plants are in flowering for 1 month ! right ?
what problems did you experienced during flowering ? If you had any at all :jointsmile:

Yea, it's been slow from the start, but about 2 weeks of my flowering month really weren't in any sort of light pattern. Timers broke, leaving the light on or off for up to about 24/30 hrs, the poor thing got a bit confused I think.

But the only problem really,is keeping control of the heat and making sure the lights aren't on with the doors open when important people i.e landlord are around...

But I'm hoping for a respectable yield, and I don't mind waiting for it if that's what it takes.

maybe you are smart, maybe you are lucky with this grow.... but that are the smallest problem with growing. I never had this kind of problem .

i'm thinking on problems like yellowing leafs , curling leafs, brown spots when temperature, humidity, ph . . in short . . are alright .

How long you been flowering those? the buds look very small still?

She gave her first hair about a week ago, but I changed the light period a month ago. In the last week, she's been sprouting loads every day and has really started to drink up plenty.

A few leaves starting to curl, up and down. I'm not too worried, but any suggestions for a fix?

it looks steady but just a few questions for ureself to think about,these are the usual aspects alough if not right can make growth slow down and not produce propurly.
atmoshere,
temprature,
co2 levels,
ph levels,
these are the most important things i would think about if i was you, also pot size and soil mixture,but the leaves look quite healthy.also the lighting try experimenting moving the lighting up or down for a few days at a time and see what helps boost the plants growth. usaly this is done much earlyer but you should be able to make a few tweaks to get the grow ticking over, maybe your plants are in a climate to simialr to outdoors therefore your plants are takeing longer to produce.this is one of the main reasons we grow indoors so we can alter and change things so the plants can grow propurly and aceptible for the grower himself,hence why we have indoor strains which have been specifacly designed for best results.

The main problem is the fact that I rent my room with all furniture provided. It's not my wardrobe to go drilling intakes and exhausts into, and I wont be living here after june, so a permanent fixture is a no no.

I'm on the look around for ph testing/fixing stuff, and am researching homemade co2 options.

extractour fans are a big job i agree but all you have to think about is circulation use ure wits, draw a diagram of air flow in ure cabinet,have fresh air blowing in from underneath the plants, so they can make use of all the co2 and then stail air blowing out abouve your plants leaving the grow room one way or anouther. you dont need extracour fans for good air flow.also home made co2 very good idea bvut again with the right venting your plants should manage to grow suffiiantly,but saying that the more co2 the better.
