I just don't understand what's happening. I had a couple of plants growing and I got bad spidermites, also the plants did receive a little nute burn and heat stress, but nothing major except the mites. I had to harvest the bud early, 5 1/2 weeks of flower and I cut it all off the branches today after drying and I noticed what I think is a seed pod with a half formed seed in it. What the hell is this? My plant has no male flowers, I have not been in contact to any pollen anywhere else but still a seed appears to have been forming. This strain is actually a bagseed I got in a baggie off a friend, but can a plant actually give seeds without turning hermaphrodite and not receiving any outside pollen? I got rid of the mites using a toxic ass no pest strip and will try to finally get a grow with no stress, but I still don't get how this premature seed has formed. Stress normally induces formation of male flowers which in turn pollinate your bud but I have no male flowers on my buds. Also I was wondering where bagseed comes from? I mean if you get a baggie off a dealer with seeds what could have possibly created the seeds? I believe it could come from a huge outdoor grow where a few male plants could have been missed, or a hydro grower who somehow light stressed his plants. Any advice would be appreciated thanks.
