what happens when you die?
Well, when you die, your family and friends greave and there is usually a celebration of your past life while also being a place to cry over your dead body. A funeral.

Here's my theory on death: I'm not sure if it's someone else's too, but anyways,
I believe that when you die, you rot. (obviously) BUT, when you rot, you body is basically broken downinto smaller and smaller particles until eventually, you're (or what used to be you) is nothing but elements scattered throughout the ground. (If buried w/o a grave case thing.)
So anyways, now you're scattered elements, and these elements are eventually reorganized through different chemical reactions and what have you, and it's through this process that I believe we are re-encarnated. Be it as dirt or a plant, maybe (if we could be so lucky) a nice big Pot plant.
I don't know if it's true, but it's the only thing that really makes complete sence to me. But it's only a theory, there's no way to tell if it's true because you aren't you anymore, no memories, no nothing, you've become something completely different.

I have always been absolutely convinced that you just simply lose conciousness and have no thoughts whatsoever. You just cease to exist. And fasterspider's post has confirmed that to me  :rastasmoke: The whole notion of an afterlife has never made any sense to me. But I do understand the desire for humans to believe in something like that though. To me, however, it has no basis in reality at all. To each his own though it's all good :rasta:

Maybe people that have those death experience in hospitals and see white lights did die, recieved the dmt and took it for whatever they did. They chose to interpret their last chemical release as a hopeful gateway to heaven for eternity. Rather than a trip since they dont even know dmt releases in the brain when you die. right?
So when you die you get that last trip and than you blast into peace of being part of the particulate matter which is the earth.

The bhuddists believe that you enter into a long string of trials (including avoiding what we would percieve to be as "heaven", coming face to face with wrathful dieties, face to face with death himself, and a cadre of other tribulations) that will decide the if you are reborn or break free of the karmic cycle and achieve nirvana. If you are reborn you're final trial is to walk down a hall full of people having sex and choose which ones shall be your parents. Upon choosing you experience total and complete bliss then you are concieved.
My grandmother has seen a ghost once before in her life time, when she was very young her grandfather died, she had never met him before. The night of his death before her family was informed of his passing she went into her mothers room and said there was a nice man in her room and described her deceased grandfather with astonishing perfection.
Honestly I have had no such experience and until I do, I shall continue to believe that when I die thats it, game over. I'd like to believe in an after life but I just simply can't believe in something thats never been presented to me in any form at all be it tangible or personal experience.

Me?
Not particularly, I won't say they don't exist but I've never had a supernatural experience.

what happens when you die?
When I die, I hope it's in my sleep. Wanna go out like that, peacefully. I really don't care what happens after that.
