DMT in the brain will make the last 10 seconds last a while but then its over. Then there will be no more neurotransmitters creating electrical signals in your brain meaning it will not be like sleep or anything awake. It is complete and utter DEATH. No synapses are occurring in your brain meaning all thought, memory, instinct, and reason are lost. Your body degrades into other particles but nothing like a mind (or soul) which is simply a bunch of different patterns of synapses in the brain.

I saw a UFO a few months ago and it changed my perspective on life. Although what I state about the brain is scientifically proven, science isn't shit compared to what Aliens can do and maybe they are watching us.

What is to say that the energy that runs the brain doesnt live on, and further to say that this energy does not retain some of the brain's functionality even after it has left the body?

i try not to even think about it, ya know? whats the point really? we're here and alive at this moment. so, why not think about now? and what we can do to be productive and successful. when we die, well, thats when we'll know the answer.

The brain is like a machine, or a computer. When you die, it no longer functions, and you're done with. Not a bad thing, really.

It's probably like what it was before you were born. Nothing.

And like some others have said It can be a real good thing for some people to believe in an after life of some sort. Some people would freak out if they knew for sure when they died that was it! FOREVER!! I on the other hand take a scientific perspective of things. I also question everything that has ever been told to me and need to see proof of something before i will call it fact. I wish we knew the answer to this but when i really think about it, its probley best we dont know.

Dont get your hopes so far up on an after life that you forget how precious real life is! :thumbsup:

I think the latter and I believe that when the plug is pulled the power is absorbed back into the network (Universe) so to speak.
I do not believe that the energy that makes us function is in any way sentient, any more than the energy that makes your TV work is.

Im sorry but its not. Making up stuff will not make it any more true. With out your brain that is it! How can you think, feel, be without a brain??? I wish there is an after life but im sorry, to me that is right up there with Santa Claus and all the other crazy noise people try to throw out there. Im not going to believe something just because i want it to happen. If it doesnâ??t sound AT ALL reasonable then im just not going to believe it. I believe that when we die we return to our original state which is pure love, no more words or symbolisms. In fact I venture to say that nothing we see is actually real at all but only reflections of light that merely answer to the false collective ego that has "death" as its goal, its god, its idea of salvation. A matrix of fantasy is really nothing at all and cannot effect reality at all. This world is just a literal nightmare. We have forgotten that we hold the key to Heaven's gate through forgiveness.

This is confusing to most. They think, God will forgive it all. Most have no clue, we have to do it daily when we do things that hurt others! We must ask them for forgiveness and then forgive our own actions. Thus, allow the 'higher power' to forgive. I don't think, as a nut down the street does: "While you are dying, ask God for forgiveness and you will go to heaven!" rings wrong to me. God can forgive anyone.
