Hello everyone this is my first post as im looking for a mentor give me some advice on where to begin. Im thinking of ordering White Widow to grow outside in Texas and i would really like to know if it will make it out side because it gets damn hot here.
What will i be combating in nature? What will i need to nurture the plants with? Basically i want to know if its possible to grow great outdoor White Widow here and what i would need to do to be successful.

hey mindcrimey, best of luck this season. i too plan on growing white widow outdoors this spring, but this will be my first time with store bought seeds. i am however, a seasond grower of bagseeds. i grow in tennessee.
look out for any small anamals because they will most likely eat seedlings. also, look
for any bugs eating your plants.
care for them with plenty of water, good loose soil, and a good 20-20-20 fertilizer for the veg. stage, then swich to a good bloom fert in aug. or sept.
hope this helps and i hope, for both of us, white strains do good outdoors.
btw, do you already have seeds? i got mine from cannabis pro.Dylan

As for the the deer, you should either git a deer repellant..or simply piss in a big circle, around yer plants, the smell of human urine, will drive alot of animals away..you still may want to put up a camoflaged fence.
In South Texas, the humidity gits real high and you may have some problems with mold. Overall,however..I think that weed grows real well here ,outdoors,if you can keep the critters away. You may be interested in some organic, safe insect repellents, there's some recipes to make your own,at http://www.dirtdoctor.com/index.php , another link for ya, http://www.texasorganicgrowers.com/ ,hope these help..can't recall if there's any grow zone info-but you should look for it,for your area.
Have a good one...Torog

When your growing outside in very hot weather I was told you're supposed to grow the plants young life inside and move it outside so that it has more of a survival chance. Old thread tho. Goodluck.
