    cant argue with that. but generally it will break the soil surface within a week if its a good seed. at that point you can always add more. i personally overseed assuming that out of every 10 seeds, about half will fall victim to being either duds or males

    ive had seeds not sprout in soil, and as a confirmation, unsuccesfully tried the towel method too.

    hell, on a totally offtopic note, i actually ate one of those seeds yesterday since they presumably are good for ya. (tasted kinda crappy and let out a wierd hollow crack)

    because of the wierd hollow feeling it seemed to have, i cut the other seed in half. turns out at least 1/2 the space inside the seed was empty. :wtf:
