    Ive Overwatered-am i screwed?

Here's my 2 cent's, Im not at all dissagreeing with Stinky and Mr. Clad , but from experience ive had a plant that looked just like yours and I thought she was dead and everybody told me it was useless because it was so ugly haha but I flushed the hell out of it and gave it extra attention and a little more then a week later I saw signs that it was getting healthy again. The plant did fine and produced some pretty nice buds.

IMO, If that was my plant ( and I know everyone who read's this will dissagree with me ) id pull off all the dead leaves ( be sure that they are 100% dead ) and I would just try to keep her growing, sure if you dont see any signs in like 2 weeks then id kill it but why not just stick it out another 1 or 2 and see if she pulls through, It just kills me to see and plant die.

thanks, i figure its beyond saving unfortunately. however, nutrient burn would resemble wilting?

so you suggest that i actually flush the crap out of em??? im pretty sure thats what killed em, but im getting desperate.

im becoming desperate for seeds for next grow, should i consider trying to herm the survivor? its only carrying 2-3 seeds that i could pinpoint (5 at most) and i want more.

will making it herm cause complete pollination? and since itsd a forced hermi, will seeds be hermiing genetics? and is the asprin method best for hermying? its about 3-4 weeks till harvest and i want seeds ASAP

ive planted green seeds from some dead buds, but they didnt feel at all viable, but ill see if any of the 5 grow.

PS: my soil is garbage and i feel flushing will guarenteed cause overwatering....what then?

the three i overwatered got about 2 cups of water each in already moist soil BTW.

OK, i realized that stink is actually onto something. the surviving plant has had crispy leaves since that watering also, so it must be the stupid ferts...

ive heavily flushed the 3 with about 3-4 cups of water each so that a good cup or more drained out.

anything else i can do, since it is a bad soil for flushing, and i dont want to nuteburn AND DROWN the survivor by trying to flush it.

So let me make sure I have this straight. You yourself are saying that you have:

    1. Crappy soil
    2. Crappy lighting
    3. Crappy drainage
    4. Crappy nutes.

I don't see anything postive there at all......not one decent thing for the plant to try and survive on. At the VERY VERY least you need better soil (NO nutes) and better drainage.

    Good luck.

the bad drainage is a result of the bad soil. (MG moisture control mixed with seedling soil-holds stupid amounts of water)

light was crap, but now i have a 600w hps rig

nutes.........well they still suck, but im getting new liguid stuff ASAP when i get new soils

my shopping list is soil, liquid flowering nutes, moisture metre, ph meter

this grow is more or less screwed i think. any way of saving overnuting of nitrogen a week later when the plant appears totally dry? or at least any way to have a good chance germinating a green, unfinished seed?

Doesn't sound like it. You can try transplanting to different soil but you are still asking for a miracle in my opinion. Nuteburned plants are the very hard to fix....once burned that part of the plant is ruined...your only real hope is for new growth to start appearing. I just don't see that happening here because you are halfway through flowering and it most likely is just too much of a major shock on the plant. Don't have anything to lose by trying though.

well i super-flushed them like i said. ive spent about an hour pruning some of the buds that are guarenteed dead anyways-----got about 7g here once it cures fully

gotta say, they are damn sticky buds...hope ill save some genetics for next grow...

im gonna reveg the surviving plant once i harvest. how do i do that? just pull buds, or cut only the top half right off?

while trimming i mauled a green seed by accident, but it seems pretty heathy inside. think green seeds'll grow? they can detach from the caylx fine...

Nothing will happen with any of them until you get them into better conditions. Just harvesting the plant and cutting off the top half is not going to fix it for you. The plant will not survive unless you can fix the problem. (and even then only if you work fast and are VERY lucky :wtf If you still have any of the above issues (poor soil, too much nutes, or poor drainage) you are still going to lose that plant for sure.

I would doubt that a half grown seed is viable but again.....why not try? I certainly wouldn't count on it to germinate but what harm can come from giving it a go? I think you are are going to need new seeds though......really doesn't sound like you have any usable ones there.

i planted about 8 of em and will cross my fingers...

the one i was refering to for reveg was the one thats still alive. how is that best done?

also, on a possibly happy note, i noticed that the bottom of the stem on one plant was a light, unhealthy shade of green, which is 100X better than the top which is just yellow...could this mean a revival???
