First grow. Lots of questions to be asked.
I'm new to growing and I know a decent amount of stuff about growing. But, I'm going to need help from you guys as well. I will be asking lots of questions as I grow. Please be helpful and answer them as politely and as best as possible.
Ok I recently bought an 1/8th of dro and I got 6 seeds from it. Since it came from a good strain i'm hoping I will get some pretty good weed growing. The seeds cracked this morning so I put them in those little dirt tabs that you put in hot water and they expand.
Once the seedlings sprout I'm going to move them to small pots. I have two 26w cfls in the room for these 6 plants for about a week until I get my check.
What lights should I buy for the plants?
I need to keep my spending limit to a minimum so anything cheap would be great. Could I just buy a bunch more 26w cfls to put in the grow room?

i'm growing in a 18 gallon rubbermaid container turned upside down with 2 26w cfls hanging down and a fan in the middle of the top to keep air flowing. there is a hole at the bottom to let air in. it works good.

First grow. Lots of questions to be asked.
Somewhere in here is a FAQ or thread that has a lot of information on rubber maid grows.
I have seen a lot of people talking about it.

First grow. Lots of questions to be asked.
Is this still the grow you had planned in your mum's house while she is away tending to your dying granny?
If so please read the following maybe you will understand that better or at least not be surprised if an admin bans you. I have no interest in continuing to seem to be badgering you, but your posts keep appearing at the top & seem to slip by commentators who would not be so fast to give advice did they know the full score on your intended grow.
If your dead set to give it a try go find some really good waste ground where no one else will be held legally responsible for your actions & do a guerilla grow as Shovehandle suggested. Make it clear that this is what you have done not just gone ahead with your planned grow behind your mums back & maybe people will be keen to help you.

Didn't even know you had a go at flaming me in the other thread should have said lol.
I'll have a go at answering some of your points in a civil manner as this topic is likely to die anyway but I'm not going to get drawn into a flame war the likes of Stinky already closed.
Yes I admit I am not impressed by people who want to have all the fun of something but leave the legal liabilities to others. I have done plenty in my time, but at least the four times I appeared in the dock I didn't drag my family with me. It was obvious from the comments inside his request that he was trying to grow in his mothers house behind her back which she had already caught him for and told him she didnt agree. he only thought it was safe because his mother would be a nursemaid for another dying member of his family. Well yes I do consider those particular choices of actions pretty low I could actually have been more harse & since his question was about dro seeds then its obvious we are not talking about a growing legend. I could have easily said they were a special seed that dealers throw in bags of oregano so dumbass kids will think they are smoking weed. Either way the question itself is a stupid one since a seed is a seed.
On the point of age well if you have to sneak about your mothers house you aren't grown up to have had the I drink & smoke but pay for it with my own wages conversation with your parents. Therefore your a child & since he needs mommy's house to grow in he probably needs her to pay the food bills.
In essence I don't have a hang up about age if a 15 year old has talked to his parents they have agreed etc.. then the best of luck, but if you still wnat other people to take responsibility for your actions it is time to grow up. Also I am only reiterating the policy of this web site of which I happen to agree & on this occassion posted a link to above.
I hope this explains anything you didn't quite get about my previous post in the other topic & I have no interest in having a disagreement as mentioned in ongoing topics if somehow my grows etc.. don't interest you fair enough, but I consider myself still a noob so am not looking for respect as some kind of growing guru. I don't normaly feel the need to explain myself but I hope this will pre answer questions about my similar response to this grow log without a flame.
