I have no idea, Id say remove it because it will prolly eat the leaves.

What about putting earth worms in my soil, for an indoor grow ?

Lady bugs are good, they won't eat the plant, they are there to eat other bugs that WILL eat the plant. It's alright.

Do not put worms in your indoor grow, buy "workcastings".

I didnt give out false information, all I said was " Im not sure, I think they will eat your leaves ". I never said they were 100% bad for the plants. Which IMO I kinda think they are bad because my first grow had lady bugs and they were eating the bottom leaves.

the lady bugs are our friends and they will eat other bugs that are not. Just read up on them i use them in my outdoor veg garden I just buy a lot of them and release them in the garden and i have no problem with bad bugs at all. And dont put worms in your soil you want to get earthworm castings.

Ladybugs are excellent pest assassins. If you have a mite colony, or aphids, these little creatures will obliterate them before they can infest your crop. You'd definitely need more than one if you were needing to fight an infestation, but just keeping a few around as a preventative measure isn't going to hurt anything.

They will not eat or otherwise harm your leaves. Worst case scenario, they might poop on the leaves...leaving a small red spot here and there. Again, if there's only one or two, this isn't anything to worry about. You should be sure to leave a small dish of water in there for them, or they'll get dehydrated and die.

As for earthworms in your soil, there's nothing wrong with that either. Earthworms will burrow and move around all throughout the soil, making for natural aeration, and they will not harm your roots. Also, earthworms expel waste through their skin, known as 'castings', and this is very good for the plants, as it contains plenty of organic goodies. If you don't want a bunch of squigglies roaming around your soil, adding pre-packaged earthworm castings is a fine alternative.

Once again, The site called "weedfarmer" made me look like an idoit, I swear I read a forum on their site and it said Ladybugs were bad for the plants, If what your saying is true then ill try to catch a few of them and put them on my plant haha.

So if I dig up a few earthworms they will do some good for my soil ?

Again, earthworms are good for the soil of any plant they're living in. But, if you're going to be using high levels of nutrients, or are prone to missing waterings, you'd be better off just getting some earthworm castings. Earthworms can get bundled up in the corners of pots sometimes, making it difficult to keep the little buggers alive & healthy. Don't add them to your soil unless you're sure you will be able to keep them happy...thereby keeping your plant happy.

Not sugar, Molasses! It does everything that sugar does and adds minerals, too! And I have a thriving colony of worms in my 19 gallon tubs! They fertilize my plants and keep the soil aerated and fluffy! If I don't see worms when I transplant, I worry! And lady bugs eat aphids and mites! You don't want either of them! - Granny:hippy:
