Short Bushy Female - need some answers!
I recently started flowering(2days) one of my plants that has shown me signs of a female preflower, I am not sure of the strain since it was just a bag seed.
What I'm wondering is why she is not getting much height to her, I measured the plant and it is only about 7-8 inches tall but she is very plump for being such a shorty though this is only my first grow. She is about 11-12 inches away from the bulbs.
I am growing in a rubbermaid grow box with 10 26w warm spectrum CFL bulbs. The temps in the grow box are stable around 72-80f.
Here are some pictures i just took of her. I will be referring to her as Roxanne:smokin:

Remember that the plant will grow the most of it size in the flowering period. As it is bushy be sure that you got light that will pass the first layer of leafs or else thoses near the soil will die.

Give it about a week and it will grow TONS.
I'm no expert or anything but the fat leaves on that plant make it look indica dominant to me, and indicas tend to be a shorter bushier plant from my understanding.

ahh yes that is true, ok well I have another plant that is way bigger than Roxanne and they were started at around the same time with in about 3-4 days, though maybe one got more care because I was so addicted to my plants that i wouldn't leave them alone, what can I say puppy love lol or I gave different amounts of nutes, stunted growth/stressed I dunno, I know better now though, Also I can't seem to see any signs of male or female preflowers.
but Im thinking it's a male cause it smells different and the males tend to grow taller and quicker, right?
here are some pictures.
:jointsmile:named X until sex is figured out.

I would like to know when do the trics start showing up and where should i look for them on the leafs or are they on the buds themselves. Also what colour or mix of amber and cloudy should i end with for best high.

There has been some good growth as Gundari and LuciferN said there would be. I just watered with steam distilled water and i picked up some Pure Blend Pro Flower soil formula, 1.5-4-5 by Botanicare has anyone used this? I am hoping to see a huge growth jump from the distilled water and the organic nutes, apposed to the chemical nutes i used for vegging.
X still isn't showing any signs unless Im just missing them.
more pictures soon.

May be a little too early to tell, but those look like male preflowers to me.
