Coughing fits.

So it seems like whenever I smoke I get fits of coughing where im hacking for like a minute or 2. It's not so bad off of small hitters like pinchies or pipes, but when i rip bongs, blunts, or even vaporizers I tend to cough more. It's just like a sudden burn in my chest and then i just bust out. Is it cause im taking too big of hits or could it be something else?

nah the more u cough the higher you'll get

i know what u mean though sometimes i gota pass my turn cause im coughing my ass off

i just always got water or sumthin by my side
dont stop taking huge rips cause u cough or it burns though

Try smaller hits. I don't believe that thing about how coughing makes you higher. I think it's the size of the hits. Take a huge hit, and you will cough and get very high, but you are high because of the big hit, not the cough. Take two smaller hits instead on one huge rip, don't cough, and get just as high. Coughing uncontrollably is not good for you.

Funny cause it doesn't seem to make any sense but vaporizers seem to make me cough more than anything else. It's like THC causes bad irritation in my lungs and there's an irresistable urge to cough. the almost pure thc vapor seems to irritate more. Weird cause i thought vapes were suppose to be easier to hit.

I do that too. I was sick with a cold (and lots of congestion) in September and ever since then I have been coughing every day whenever I smoke....

If you're coughing from a vaporizer you aren't using a vaporizer...

Might be using it incorrectly, or just being very sure to get the most out of the bowl.

Well in all fairness it was a lightbulb vape but it looked clean and when i used it i could see the vapor swirling in the bulb so it must be working. Maybe it was just too hot?

it happend to me, i just kept on tokeing could nev er smoke a bong withought cvoughing literally all the smoke, then kept on smokeing and cough went away,

Dude, the exact burning sensation happens to me a lot, but only when I hit from my bucket. It's probably because you're swallowing smoke. I used to cough really badly after I had swallowed, but now I'm getting used to it, but I still feel that sensation of the burning going down my throat.
