    IS THIS DOLOMITE LIME???

Hey whats up guys! So I bought some pelletized garden lime from the local gardening store. They said it was dolomite lime but I cant find anywhere on the bag that says dolomite. Is garden lime the same thing? I didnt notice it was pellets till I got home should I put some in a blender to chop it up to fine grade? I also have some hydrated lime should I use it? Thanks greenthumbs! :woohoo:

whenever I bought Dolomite Lime, it was clearly labeled as such .. it also contained a good dose of magnesium ... the pelletized is OK, thats what I had, too ... mix it into the soil, it doesnt dissolve worth a damn in water, has granules like sand (the magnesium, perhaps ?) ... the nursery also told me I could buy a 40# bag about as cheap as the small box, but I didnt have room to store that much

Hey Reaper thanks for the fast reply! The label says its 21% Ca 10% Mg And you think pelletized is ok? I just hope it will break down enough to be absorbed. Maybe theres some powder at the bottom of the bag i can screen out. Its a 5lb bag of Espoma Organic Traditions Garden Lime
