question about dilution for all in the know

I smoked a two days ago and have a test in a few days and was wondering if diluting your test completely rids the THC levels in the urine or if it just lowers it. I know that it is a 20ng cutoff level instead of a 50 ng cutoff level which i thought was standard.

I believe 20 ng/ml is pretty low which is why i decdied to dilute my test rather than trying to beat it.

DOes anyone know for sure whether or not dilution rids your urine of thc completely or if it just decreases the value? I would think if all i were drinking is water than i would just be urinating almost pure h2o but would like others that know to comment. thanks very much!

question about dilution for all in the know

I am definitely not an expert by any means, but the word "dilution" istelf means "the process of making weaker or less concentrated".

So, no, it doesn't rid your body of anything. It simply "dilutes" the sample so that the concentration of THC is below the cutoff. That's also why the dilution is not permanent. It only lasts for a few hours. If it completely eliminated the THC in your body, it would be called "detoxifying". Unfortunately, only time can rid your body of THC.

Where are you testing that is using a 20 ng cutoff? That is pretty rare.

probation. but i think it's actully 50ng/ml. t hey just offer to test at 20ng/ml if the probation department requests but id on't think they do that. I took a test last monday after only being two days clean. I had a visit from my PO the following friday and he didn't mention anything, so i think i may be clean. He probalby would've mentioned something if it were positive or dilute. If it were positive he probalby would've taken me to jail on the spot.

Will keep you posted. Hopefully he got the results last week. The suspense is killing me.

i took very little b12 in the detox pills that i had. i tooki the sample twice. the first time it was clear. the second time it was a clear yellow(very faint). it was obvious i was trying to dilute but at least i got an extra week to clean out.
