For the top part of my grow cab is 7 inches enough space or will the bulb catch the top of my cab on fire. I will be using mylar or white paint. How hot does a 250w hps get?

I can fit three 1 gallon pots in it and plan on LSTing. I think I could produce some nice bud. I'll be working with clones.
