Story about where stuff comes from and goes to

interesting but, i gotta say a lot of the way people think really is too idealistic. there is a bigger picture yet. i think that really no matter what we do to combat these problems, they are so gigantic now that we have no realistic hope of changing them. eventually we will all die out because of it, or because of some other natural catastrophe. remember, humankind's existence on earth is a mere blip on the geologic time line. i think it is NATURAL and IN BALANCE for us to eventually eliminate ourselves. thousands, millions, billions, or trillions of years from now, life as we know it here will end and thousands, millions, billions, or trillions of after, begin anew. life actually recycles itself, it just happens over a very long period of time. our lifespans are so short that, in a geologic sense, they may as well be zero. as matter, we simply do not matter. we just 'are.' and what we do here, with our lives, in the forms we know of as our bodies, is wholly insignificant to the universe at large.

    plain old cold science.

i picture a giant washing machine motion, with all matter on earth in its various forms (note: human cognition is so limiting that to us the combinations are 'uncountable,' that is, we cannot even fathom their numerical reality. sure we can use limits and laws of large numbers all day but they won't help us arrive at a 'real' figure) cresting and rolling like a huge wave in the ocean that recycles itself chaotically over billions of years.

    think about it:jointsmile:
