I've just been researching a few years now and have surpirisingly been able to comprehend and retain much of what I read on the subject of recreational street drugs and pharmaceuticals. I understand that I know quite a bit about these substances, but still feel a have a lot more to learn before im satisfied. Much of this comes from Erowid, rxlist, Wikipedia, The Rhodium (Where has it gone?) and a countless number of other websites as well as some books and my own personal experiences.

I used to think drugs were bad too, this changed thanks to my tendency to always want to do the opposite of what im told and Tool of course. In a freshmen highschool health class the teacher told us to write an essay on what we think the government should do about drugs and I figured he would get bored with all the "I think drug users should be put to death" type papers...so I wrote about how legalization might benefit society and to my amazement was able to think of several reasons ignoring that they were "dangerous". Then I started looking into the matter myself and found most drugs weren't dangerous at all, especially if put in comparision with legal commodities. From that day it was clear to me that government, teachers and authority figures in general should not be trusted.

I probably had something else to add, but have forgotten. Oh well.
