    low cost 150 watt HPS

    Take a look at this,

    http://www.e-conolight.com/Product/E...ber=E-MT5H151G

Click on "Vapor Tight" and check out the 150 HPS stuff.

I am considering one for my next Barrel of Green grow. It is its own "cool tube" if you vent the chamber and use a fan for blowing in fresh air. Plants can be very close to the light.

Anyone know anything about the "NPF" ballast thing?

Any other info I should know about?

    regards,

Never argue with a fool: 1) People watching can not tell who is who 2) They will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience

The NPF ballast is just an internal ballast.

Awesome link for small lights. Don't think you can beat $20 for a 150w HPS and ballast.

P.S. Let me know how turning it into a cool tube works.
