How to get thicker leaves?

Oh shit, there's another major source of air flow restriction. Is the pot made of a thin enough material that you could hack off the rim with a pair of tinsnips? You've GOT to get the air moving in there.

Okay, I have noticed that the newest/biggest leaves on my plant are getting thin at the end almost like the skinny stem in the middle is weak at the end causing them to droop slightly. Should I feed it more? Mist less? Water less? Maybe I need more light? Or more ventilation? I just want to know what's responsible for making perkier leaves like the first ones in the bottom, thanks. Yeah. I'll try to get a camera, but not today. Cellphone pics look really bad right? I don't know, if it looks okay I can buy the chord that connects it to the PC..
