swallowing smoke

hey guys when i some i tend to take pretty big hits and it causes me to swallow some smoke and then i burp it out after..

just wondering is swallowing weed smoke bad in anyway?

i use to bloak alot when i started, i think it just comes with time to learn not to, but i dont think it can hurt you in anyway

I have read that it gives you more of a body buzz, as the smoke seems to just stay in the lower stomach and upper intestines, where it is slowly absorbed. Less of the cannabinoids go directly to the brain (as where normally just passing through the lung membrane, straight to brain) thus contributing to the body buzz. There might possibly be tars and other chemicals deposited in the lower stomach/ upper intestines, but prolly no worse than what gets in the lungs, perhaps... although when swallowing smoke, it does stay in your body longer...

It wont hurt you, it's a little uncomfortable if you swallow enough (like gas) but it's not gonna make you sick or anything.

When I was 16, my friend and I had just eaten a big lunch and we were smoking a bowl of some pretty good weed, but I wasn't that experienced at the time. Well, I took a hit off the pipe and instead of inhaling, I swallowed a lot of my hit.

Well, five minutes later I burped and this huge cloud of smoke came out with my burp. It was awesome.

ya its not bad for you but really doesnt contribute to making you higher, its like wasting the smoke because it really doesnt absorb that well in the stomach, so dont try to swallow smoke, but it wont hurt you if u accidently swallow some

I close my mouth, belch and inhale the smoke I belched up without letting it out of my mouth. Getting even higher.

Hehehe me and a friend used to go and smoke out everyday in Highschool and rarely made it the class post lunch for us (Walked out of the class with an A still) on the rare occasions that we would get to class I'd usually end up burping up a decent amount of smoke in the middle of class. Was pretty funny.
