ROCK BAND?

So this game called rock band came out a while ago. I've been a fan of the guitar hero series since 2 came out and well since this is the newest in the series i wanted to try it out. My first impression was that it was really gay having a whole fake band playing together. I have a horrible singing voice so i knew i would never want to sing.

So the other day i went to best buy to see if any Wiis had come in (there werent). So I see rock band set up on a big screen with a bunch of teenagers playing it. I got in on the next song with the guitar and realized how different the guitar was. It's longer heavier the strum bar is different and has 5 "solo" buttons at the end of the neck. Every time i tried to use to solo buttons i failed. They are so close together, its hard. But anyways i found it was actually pretty fun. It was fun playing with four people at the same time and we had a crowd watching us, lol.

Then finally I got to play drums. The first song we played was Enter Sandman, I played on Expert and was surprised that i pretty much owned it. And it was fun. Alot of fun. The drums are definately the best part of the game. Just when I had got cocky we played Tom Sawyer and I got owned. I failed. Its fucking hard. But still I had alot of fun. The games priced at 170 so I'm probably never going to buy it but I'm hoping one of my friends will buy it or get it for christmas so i can just play it over there.

If anyone else thinks this game looks retarded just try it out with four people and you'll probably have fun.

It's such a great game!!!
Enter Sandman on Expert Drums is tough, but once you get the bass down and realize its a repetive 1/4 note all you have to focus on is the drums. Took me a couple tries but I can at least 4-star, probably 5-star it, surprised to see how quickly you adapted though!

Tom Sawyer is another great one. if you like that, and have the XBL version, you should buy limelight. Another GREAT Rush song. However, Peart is no rookie so if you're gunna play drums come with your A game.

Hey, anyone else that has this game for XB360 should add me to their friends list, I'm always looking to have a 4-player band and can even double on on guitar/bass and mic if needed.
