Until you decide on and purchase the nutes, no one can tell you how to apply. I use Fox Farms nutrient products most of the time. Whichever you choose, go with label instructions for diluting till they are stronger in size and appearance.

Very doubtful that it was 'rootbound' at any time. They are just too small for having any root restriction problems.

I never used FF soil, but if your local nursery doesn't have a good potting soil, it is much more cost-effective mixing your own soil. Plenty of recipies in these forums, I'll bet.
