From everything I have read they cut the hair off as close to the scalp as possible. I have not read of a test where they pull the hairs out so they could test the root. I think that would be too painful considering they take 60 hairs.

Maybe a senior member will chime in and answer this one...

I'm not senior here, but Boobs will confirm, I know my shit about this subject.

The test is done on the hair strand, not the root.

And yes, if you have been clean 10-14 days, all new growth should be clean.

im in the same boat your in. Instead of bleaching the shit out of my hair. Im gonna by the acidic shampoo to breakdown the cuticle without melting my head.

I just dont know what is recommended, who has the insight?

Acid closes the cuticle, which covers the cortex. THC metabolites are stored in the cortex.

Bleaching is an extreme basic, which opens the cuticle, which allows the THC metabolites to be removed, ideally with a shampoo high in propylene glycol.

Heavy users need to bleach and redye at least twice to pass a hair test.

Ok Does this mean that the new hair growing from my head with contain THC as well?

I thought that the hair that contained the THC would grow out of your head within 10-14 days. It will be like 43 days since my last smoke when I get tested.

Also, last night I bleached my hair, this morning I did A Mac letting the Vin and Clean and Clear sit in my hair for 8-10 min and used the tide and then washed it out with the Nexxus Aloe Rid Shampoo.

Today I went to the Salon and got my hair dyed back to normal.

Should I continue to do Macs? Or will it mess the color up? I am thinking it will.

I also have 3 zydots that I plan on using I just dont know when. I know I want to use at least one the day of the test.

When do you guys think I should use the zydots???

Also give me a yes or no on continuing the mac method.

so ideally we need to bleach once, use the shampoo and redye? Possibly bleach twice. So bleach the day of and day before with the use of the propylene glycol shampoo..

Let me know what the course of action is if I cant redye...

Here is what I have I have been shampooing with nexxus aloe rid...
then I have 3 boxes of zydot.....should I use them all test day?
