    Cold Weather Effects?

Nice family you have there, looking real good...HPS burned your plant? Ok, It'll come back and heal itself...other than that its lookin like you'll have a nice harvest man, congrats...
Subjekt Reviewed by Subjekt on . Cold Weather Effects? Quick question, wanted to separate it from my other thread, but i was recently questioning factors that might cause my plants to grow/develop trichomes and such late...anywayz i thought of this, where i'm growin is winter out here , windows open for exhaust obviously it gets id say coolest 50 degrees in the room, theres a space heater in the room i didnt use at first cuz they use alot of electricity. I decided id use it during the time lights are off cuz thats when it really needs it....i Rating: 5

    Cold Weather Effects?

Yea, i went away for the week and i taped down the string i had tied to my plant to hold it down and it came loose, i came back and the tippy top [where you can obviously see in picture 4] was up pretty much touching the bulb on my HPS light and crispy fried, so i got one of those heavy duty paper clips, tied the string around that and clipped it to the side of the pot, wont be coming loose now....how long you thing the healing will set back my harvest time by?

So you think i should think about cutting those burnt branches away? My plant is tied down so all those branches are growing like ___|_|_|_| (the underscore being the main steam running horizontal), can you top when its close to harvest? Wouldnt that just stress it and cause it to try and heal/regrow those branches again?

LOL last time that happened to me i topped my plant off, cuttin the head...WHY? because all the other branches get more light and they act like the top and start to fill up with double buds...

    Cold Weather Effects?

So i got to thinking, how can i get the part of my one plant that got burnt to heal faster and get it more optimal lighting....then i was like how bout LST and this is the result....

....theres 3 different strings each tied to 3 different tops and anchored into the wall to pull it slightly apart so that they arnt so bunched up and the light and get through better.....feedback?

Also, If i were to cut buds off early [cuz im thinkin that my lower buds, the ones that didnt get burnt] are gunna be ready for harvest sooner] that wouldnt set my plant back for the rest of it, being that i cut off the entire branch

It's not bad to cut a little off sometimes, everybody probably done it a few times but if you cut a entire branch then the opposite bud will get the energy that, that bud was receiving and from my understanding its suppose to double in size...BUT sometimes when you cut a branch the plant can go into shock and set it back a week or so but aye if your a few weeks from harvest then be patient but i can understand if your anxious...
