    Cold Weather Effects?

Quick question, wanted to separate it from my other thread, but i was recently questioning factors that might cause my plants to grow/develop trichomes and such late...anywayz i thought of this, where i'm growin is winter out here [well its starting to snow at least, we're talkin round 30 degrees outside], windows open for exhaust obviously it gets id say coolest 50 degrees in the room, theres a space heater in the room i didnt use at first cuz they use alot of electricity. I decided id use it during the time lights are off cuz thats when it really needs it....i figure obviously it can grow in cooler weather cuz i got some nice buds and its been growin in this cooler weather but would that cause it to grow slower and develop trichomes and such at slower rate? What exactly are the effects of cooler weather on the plant [obviously frosty weather kills plants or theyd grow outside in the winter LOL] but temps that can get down around 50 degrees?

"What exactly are the effects of cooler weather on the plant?"
Cooler weather helps the plant develope Trichomes

You mentioned "late trichomes", sometimes that can be caused by the type of strain you have(mostly means the strain is weak), it's really nothing serious..just keep growing because some plants start slower than others and some plants develope Trich late and then it BLOOMS....so you might just have a late bloomer...

Darkness & Cooler weather helps "thc".....Just don't freeze your plant(s)

    Cold Weather Effects?

Wow, then im in really good shape cuz due to "the myth" lol Global Warmer has made the temp around here in Fall warmer, but when i changed it to flower the cold weather came in so i guess it was perfect timing, and yea i do believe i have a late bloomer...the pistols are turning brown just like my other STINKY STINKY plant, but the trichomes are coming in late [as i say that with my fingers crossed LOL]. These are bag seeds and im thinking my later bloomer is just some nice nuggets and the other one well that smells like some stinky/fire headies or something, tho i guess i should name it after harvest and i try it since i dunno what strain it came from =]

well dont give up hope, and take a close look at your "trichome" or the "crystals" and see what color it is...

Clear Crystals means you do not have enough Potency...

Cloudy Crystals meanz you "CAN" harvest if you want, the high will be Energetic/uplifting

1/2 Cloudy 1/2 Amber meanz you "CAN" harvest if you want, the high will be equal body and head

All Amber Crystals meanz you can harvest now, the high will be couchlock....

Sometimes your buds will change color(Mostly purple) but it doesnt mean nothing sometimes, depend on strain but thats usually from cold weather...

    Cold Weather Effects?

Heres some pictures, ill take some better ones with more natural light tomorrow cuz the HPS light doesnt do the look justice.

Pic#1=My stinky, sticky, probably first to get harvested plant
Pic#2=My first and successful clone attempt from the plant in pic#3
Pic#3= My big plant thats been the trouble maker
Pic#4= Is the top of the big plant where it go to close to the HPS lamp when i was gone for a week, seems to be tryin to heal it'self and would be the cause of this plant not developing as fast as my other....Anyway to just cut my losses on the top of this girl and have it develop whats still on cuz semester break is coming up and i gotta go home for about a month and i wanted to harvest before the 13th of December.
Pic#5=One of the lower buds on the big girl from the last 2 pictures

    .....so whaddaya think
