My buddy used to burn his fingers EVERYTIME he used a bic lighter till I showed him a new way to hold it that kept his fingers away, ever since then noone i smoke with has ever suffered that fate cause i always share the knowledge haha

Heh, at least you didn't get so blazed you lit the butt end of the cigarette for two straight minutes wondering what the problem was when your friend finally stops you saying, "You're burning the wrong end..." Yes, that actually happened to me and it was hilarious. I fucked the filter and just threw it away.

lol..yes i know the feeling. went to the club with my best friend to meet up with some other people we knew couple years back and we had smoked like 2 joints in the van before going in the club, so were blazed to shit...:thumbsup: and when i opened up the door to get out i could see smoke just pouring out the door...:wtf::wtf: it was like some shit off a cheech and chong movie. I dont think we could have gotten any higher that night..:jointsmile::thumbsup: anyway we get in and he goes to fire up a newport and did the same shit, he must have lit that cigarette at least 8 times and for the life of him he couldnt figure out why this cigarette wouldnt stay lit.:wtf::wtf::wtf:. finally he took it out of his mouth, looked at it and just shook his head thinking nobody saw what he was doing... we knew but we werent telling him and when he looked over at us we just laughed our asses off. he finally stopped cussing us out after a few minutes for not telling him...:S4::wtf3: i told him "dude, just say no"...:thumbsup:LOL.

I usually burn myself while using my bong, but that's after i get realy blazed. Because as i'm burning the weed i keep forgetting to breath in, so the flame ends up swinging upwards and hits my thumb.

I have seen people try to light the wrong end of a joint as well.

In winter your fingers are so frozen you dont even feel it

this one time my best friend was sleeping over and we were having a joint lying down in my bed, and after it we were SO HIGH and i lit my prime time lying down with the lighter upside down, burnt my fingers to realize after that i lit the wrong end of the cigar
