Hey there! Im new to this forum so I hope it is ok if I ask for opinions here ..
My hubby got caught with a single plant that was not even dried in our garage and has been charged with Manufacture/Deliver THC (<=200g) Ya, he did have another prior for 3 grams I believe so this is his second time getting caught.
Im so scared~ Does anyone on here have any opinions on what he will get?
Will he get jail time u think? Fines and paying for all the stuff they make u pay for will be hard enough as Im a stay at home mom and he is the sole provider of our 4 children.
He has always been responsible and has always kept a job and is a wonderful husband and father!
He was trying to save money and grow this plant for personal use as things have been so tight with me not working too right now,
i do not think he understood how much trouble he would be in if he got caught,,,but i just dont get they can ruin your entire life when u grew one plant for personal use yaknow? If he has jail time I do not know how he would handle it and im praying someone tells me he wont get it? Probation anything~~ but time away from us. We have been married since highschool 23 years now and I just hate seeing him go through this...not to mention how hard it is on me too..
Just anyone to talk to about this would be nice...
Anyone know of a good cheap lawyer? That would also be good...I hear public defenders are not good?
Also wanted to ask..how can they charge for this weight when the plant was wet and had stems on it...huge stems too! Is that how they do it and it is ok? I mean, maybe it would weigh alot less if it would have been dry and it wouldnt be a felony then? Any help~~~ I would soooooooo appreciate it! Please stop in and say hi!

He was such a dork ~he had the one huge plant hangin from the rafter in the garage. A college student next door reported him. What a narc! I cant not even believe the trouble he is in now. They act like he is some horrible person. I have been with this man for 23 years, since high school and he gets my highest praises with me and the children he is responsible~just all around good people yaknow? But it feels like the weight of the world is on us now. Someone told me he might get his license suspended for like 6 months~about 15 days jail and a deferrment on the charges along as he pays all the fines and does his community service and all they say he has to do...treatment maybe ~assesments and all that,
If they take away his license how will he get to work is a major concern here~ the time will kill him im afraid. I just dont know...I dont think we have ever been this stressed out.
He had a prior I found out after writing all u guys...it was 4 years ago got caught with 3 grams while frisbee golfin .....so ya repeat offender so big time trouble!!
Anyone have any other opinions and all Id be so thankful as I am for those of you that have already!
It sure helps knowing there are others that understand even if they have no advise...
I would have thought there would have been ore on here with more insight to all this though,
I dont think any of the lawyers have even helped me yet. How long does it take for them to post on here? Just wondering,,,

LOL did I mention he had the garge door wide open so I had to let the cops search as they could see it in plain view...guess he didnt know how much trouble hed be in if caught and never thought our young neighbors would have narced him out ...hind site yaknow...if onlys,,,,

YIKES. Sorry to hear he's in so much trouble =( I'd definitely see a lawyer asap (I'm sure you're probably already doing that). The fact that it was just hanging there in plain view doesn't make things much easier (as there's no way to argue illegal search I'd gather). For what it's worth, I'll be praying for you both. It stinks that our government ruins peoples lives over a damned plant.

See a lawyer! Go to the Norml web site; they have a list of maximum punishments state by state, and a group of lawyers all across the country that handle these types of cases.

That is so sick. Wisconsin needs to join the country. There are a lot of "fake hippies" that look like they smoke weed and play in a band, but they don't even play an instrument.

Then they tell you right to your face that they don't know where you can get weed, and, I find out from my girlfriend's mom that the guy sells the shit, you get in Wausau. I saw him several times and made friends, but, this time, he looked as if he didn't know me.

You know how fake you are, Mr. I work at the last gas station on the left on the main road north through Wausau before you leave the city north to Merrill, across the road from a gas station and a fast food place (man, that place was so cheap (as in behind the times)).
