    Help with 4X4 SOG

I plan on building a 4X4 Growroom using the SOG method in Hydro and have a few questions.

    1. Sativa Vs Indica - What one is better for the SOG method

    2. How many plants should i be able to grow in this space under a 430W HPS system ?

    3. How tall do pure sativa grow indoors

    Help with 4X4 SOG

    1. Indica grows lower and more uniformly. It is better for SOG.

    2. 12-16 plants is what I would do. Everyone's opinion on this is a little different, though.

    3. It depends on a lot of environmental factors, but genetically pure sativas are going to be the tallest.

I just got one more question, is it ok to have a plant directly beside a wall. Or will it effect the plants growing or kill it.

I agree with bud luv to go with a squat indica. That will make your life easier.
Depending on how long you veg, and if you are also going to top at all, 9 or 16 females is a good number. 16 would be for an untopped plant.
Female clones off the same mother will grow more uniformly than from-seed females just FYI.
Plants near a wall will be fine as long as you keep steady air flow around them.

That's not a highly-known strain. It's a cross made by those breeders, most likely, so anyone without direct experience with it is going to be guessing.

The idea of SOG is usually to get the biggest yield with the quickest turn around, so keep that in mind. A fair strain to try is something like Ice, AK 47/48, White Rhino Top 44, but I have herd more than once that it is not that potent, but some prefer the yield it puts out, and last, maybe even a Bubble gum.
I think that a 430 will not give adequate coverage for that space. I wouldn't use anything but a 1000W HPS in that foot print, you may be able to get away with a 3x3 area, but that is even pushing it IMO. A rule of thumb in SOG is one plant per 6 inches to 1 plant per square foot.
    Good Luck.
Do a search on SOG and you will become a theoretic pro over night, LOL.

Always move the plants. In a sog like that turn the plants a 1\4 turn every 4 days or so. It's a lot of work, but worth it.

OK i've decided to go 3X3 but wouldnt a 1000W hps get really hot for that small a grow room.
