Skinny plant
I'd say it's been flowering for about 2-3 weeks...but that's pretty hard to tell from the picture. As stated before, CFL's don't put out enough light intensity to penetrate into the canopy...which is why you're getting one fairly dense cola, and little side branching. Either, a) buy yourself several more fluorescents and cover the lower branches with a warm light, or b) invest in a small 250-400w HID setup for your next grow. CFL's can produce fairly substantial amounts of bud, but from what I've heard by people who use them exclusively, LST is almost necessary in order to produce a sizable yield.
Mr. Clandestine Reviewed by Mr. Clandestine on . Skinny plant I have a plant that was planted from a badseed and sprouted in mid september. I kept it in the windowsill for about 3 weeks or so then put it in a little closet with some CFL's. I put it on 12/12 about 6 weeks ago and it showed sex about 4 weeks ago. Since showing sex it's doubled in size; it's about 32" tall now, but it has minimal side branching and started growing a cola between 2-3 weeks ago. It has bud sites at every node with tons of long white hairs and about a 3" cola on top but all the Rating: 5
