Being redirected is often associated with adware, unless you are accidentally hitting a link somewhere.
Try running a malware scan and see if that helps.:thumbsup:

Spy Sweeper is a good thing.

Not really. It used to be top of the line, but now it's fallen to roughly 9th place in both Gizmo and PC World, below many free programs. My father and I have both used it and agree that it's gone to hell and catches very little.
