    Flowering

I'm growing a Pure Skunk that'll be flowering 11 weeks Monday. I'm waiting to see some amber trichs. Any amber. Still getting a little light green new bud growth with white hairs although some hairs have browned. Just beautiful. Very powerful fantastic smell that has actually woken me up thinking somebody was smoking a joint. I'm just getting bored with the wait. My camera takes crappy macros. I really like to see good bud porn. I think I might get a cheap Canon. They have a "super macro" feature that produces great pics. This long wait to finish got me thinking about how some growers have put plants in flower way early, like when the plant gets 5" tall. I've never tried that but I imagine you'd have seriously decreased yield and I also wonder how a plant that small could even support any buds of any size.

    I agree.

Every time I flower early, the root system never fully develops; along with the top flowering plant. I just yanked two bag seed plants; that I put into flowering at the end of three weeks veg; about 6 inches tall.

I'll never do that again. 12-15 inches tall, minumum and 4-5 weeks veg.

Yep. Cool. Thanks. I think you just saved me some frustration. I probably won't grow this sativa dom again for awhile. It just takes too long. But the trichs are so pretty it looks like it'll be worth this wait.
